The Prometheus AUTH project team attended the Co-Innovation Tour – Athens 2026, organized by AVGIDIS AUTOMATION S.A. and Yokogawa Electric Corporation in Athens.

The event offered an excellent opportunity to learn more about the latest developments in industrial automation, digital transformation, smart instrumentation, cybersecurity, and energy management technologies. Through presentations, live demonstrations, and discussions with industry professionals, the team gained valuable insights into the future of modern industrial systems and autonomous operations.

It was also a great networking experience, connecting with experts and professionals from the automation and energy sectors while exchanging ideas around innovation and emerging technologies.

We thank the organizers for a well-structured and insightful event.

🚀 Just wrapped an inspiring day at the Bronkhorst Experience Event hosted by our partners at NCSR Demokritos in Athens this January!
Teamed up with the Bronkhorst specialist to dive deep into advanced CEM (Controlled Evaporation & Mixing) systems, precision flow control, and game-changing tech like FLUIFILL® fast batch dosing – perfect for pushing the boundaries in hydrogen fuel cell applications 💧🔋
Our Prometheus AUTh Project team showcased our low-temp PEM fuel cell prototype (built for extreme environments like space missions! 🌌), swapped ideas on humidification, safe flow management, and efficient hydrogen handling.

Our team Prometheus AUTH is entering the final stretch before submitting our proposal to the REXUS/BEXUS (Rocket/Balloon Experiments for University Students) programme — where science meets the edge of space.

We’re developing a hydrogen fuel cell system designed to push clean energy innovation beyond Earth’s boundaries. Every day brings us closer to turning vision into reality. 🌌

From brainstorming sessions to testing and design, this journey has been powered by passion, teamwork, and the belief that sustainable technology can reach the stars.

🌟 Team milestone achieved!

We’re excited to share that we recently presented our work on the Balance of Plant (BoP) system for our hydrogen fuel cell project. This system is essential for ensuring safe and efficient operation, and it’s a big step forward in our journey. ⚡🔋

What makes this even more exciting is that developing this subsystem enhances our chances of participating in the REXUS/BEXUS (Rocket/Balloon Experiments for University Students) programme 🚀 — giving us the opportunity to bring our ideas to life in a real space-relevant environment.

We’re proud of the dedication, creativity, and teamwork that brought us here, and we’re motivated to keep pushing forward!

Η ομάδα μας έκανε ένα ακόμα βήμα προς το μέλλον της καθαρής ενέργειας χάρη στη χορηγία της , μιας κορυφαίας ελληνικής εταιρείας στον χώρο των μεταλλικών κατασκευών και της βαριάς βιομηχανίας.
Με πάνω από 50 χρόνια εμπειρίας, η ειδικεύεται στον σχεδιασμό, την κατασκευή και τη συντήρηση εξοπλισμού για τη βιομηχανία πετρελαίου, φυσικού αερίου, πετροχημικών και ενέργειας. Η εταιρεία διαθέτει μονάδες παραγωγής υψηλής τεχνολογίας στη Θεσσαλονίκη και την Καβάλα, ενώ τα προϊόντα της πληρούν τις πιο αυστηρές ευρωπαϊκές και διεθνείς προδιαγραφές ποιότητας.

Στο πλαίσιο της συνεργασίας μας, η παρείχε στην ομάδα μας δοχεία πίεσης για υδρογόνο (DP 160barg, TP=229barg), οξυγόνο (DP 160barg, TP=229barg) και νερό (DP 4barg, TP=6barg) με ευρωπαϊκή πιστοποίηση EN 13445, εξασφαλίζοντας κορυφαία αξιοπιστία και ασφάλεια για το σύστημα μας.

Τα δοχεία αυτά αποτελούν την αρχή και το τέλος της λειτουργίας της κυψέλης υδρογόνου μας, παίζοντας κρίσιμο ρόλο στη διαχείριση του καυσίμου και της απόδοσης του συστήματος.

Καινοτομία και βιομηχανία ενώνονται για ένα πιο βιώσιμο και ενεργειακά αποδοτικό αύριο!
