1) DO NOT THINK OF ALL THE MONEY YOU SPENT on alcohol or in clubs: with that money you could probably buy a new car.
2) KEEP ON PARTYING with your friends: organize theme parties, crazy parties, alternative parties, but make them always in your friends' flat.
3) If you still live with your parents, MOVE OUT as soon as possible before committing su***de.
4) BRING YOUR ERASMUS SPIRIT among your friends: get them drunk of independence, dissipation and fun. But after that find a good job.
5) Join a social network for Erasmus and exchange students. SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE and try not to cry seeing the party photos of the new erasmus.
6) If you're living in a big city plenty of boosts you're lucky and you won't have big problems to SETTLE DOWN again, but if you're living in a small village or in a dead city well...that's your own f*cking business!
7) Whenever you're down and you would like to come back to your Erasmus life, stop for a moment: have a look to the pictures and to the videos of your experience and FEEL LUCKY FOR WHAT YOU'VE DONE: it's not common.
8) Find somebody to whom you can SPEAK English or other foreign language you learnt during your Erasmus.
9) JOIN groups and organizations to meet new Erasmus students, such as ESN or AEGEE.
10) Go to Erasmus parties and TRY TO MEET other Erasmus students in your city.
11) Erasmus students generally come back home in December/January or in May/June: for the first group I'm sorry but you'll get the syndrome. For the second: enjoy the summer at least!
12) Carpe diem.
13) Don't be surprised if on Erasmus you had the sexual activity of a p**n star, while in your city everybody suddenly look like chaste and pure.
14) START STUDYING THE LANGUAGES of which you learned only swearwords.
15) PLAN immediately your NEXT EXPERIENCE ABROAD: stage/internship abroad, overseas programme etc.
16) PLAN with your Erasmus friends A MEETING: it will be like a second Erasmus!
And remember: ONCE ERASMUS, ALWAYS ERASMUS!
