"The outbreak of COVID-19 has raised awareness of human beings on public health, and biostatistics has become increasingly important in applying statistical methods to biological and health-related data. The programme provided me with insight into both the theoretical and practical applications of statistics in public health and medical aspects of our society. The Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme , established by the Hong Kong Research Grants Council ( ), aims to attract the worldโ€™s best and brightest students to pursue research degree programmes at Hong Kongโ€™s universities.
