MAVA is one of the approved programmes under UGC's 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐏𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐞 which provides fellowships for outstanding LOCAL students. Fellowship recipients are required to pay a min tuition fee of HK$42,100. The fellowship will subsidise the outstanding balance of the tuition fee, subject to a cap of HK$120,000.

The Young Creative Entrepreneur (YCE) Award is an annual business start-up programme, funded by Mr. Brandon T.C. Liu, JP and organised by Centre for Research and Development, to support students and graduates of the Academy of Visual Arts to turn their creativity into feasible ventures.

The award is open to AVA students and recent graduates. The winner of the award will be granted up to HK$50,000 to execute their creative business.
