A few key takeaways from her internship journey:

💬 “During my internship at Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel as an HR Intern, I assisted in in internal communication and administrative tasks, including producing employee guidelines and designing promotional materials for staff events.

Among those initiatives, my co-ordination of a project called “Project We Can” was especially meaningful. I guided secondary students to experience real workplace life and supported them in adapting to the company environment. Seeing them become more confident, gave me a strong sense of accomplishment and taught me the importance of patience, communication, and teamwork. 🤝🏻

This internship gave me the opportunity to step outside my comfort zone, helped me develop diverse abilities, and better prepared me for my future career.

I am grateful for this opportunity and thankful to everyone who supported and guided me throughout the internship. ”💡

✨HKSYUers Shine Bright in Shanghai This Summer✨

This July, we had the pleasure of visiting HKSYU student interns, internship host companies and administrative district offices in Shanghai.🌆

Our roaring interns took on exciting roles at reputable marketing agencies,🗣️cartoon character IP companies,🎨 innovation and technology hubs,🚀 as well as subdistrict offices.🏙️ From marketing, PR, and design to accounting, and district and community services, they embraced new challenges and gained valuable hands-on experience in the cosmopolitan city.

🌟 More than just an internship, their one-month stay in Shanghai was a journey of growth, discovery, and learning.🌱They explored a vibrant new city and built professional connections. Many described the experience as rewarding and unforgettable!

我在山西廣播電視臺交通廣播節目中心的實習體驗

「去年夏天，我參加了『晉港青年匯 • 山西機遇行』內地實習計劃，前往山西廣播電視臺交通廣播節目中心，開展為期一個月的新媒體編輯實習。實習期間，我深入參與新媒體的新聞內容製作，逐步掌握以年輕化的網路形式傳遞新聞資訊的技巧。在實習工作之餘，週末並隨團走訪山西厚重的歷史古跡與壯麗的自然景觀，賦予我觀察與表達的新維度。

這次實習讓我收穫了短視頻、新聞製作、新媒體與融媒體營運的扎實技能。未來，我定當以更開闊的視野、更真誠的表達，努力成為兩地文化交流與時代故事的敘述者。」

🌟This year, we’re proud to collaborate with YMCA of Hong Kong on a new 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞-𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞.

💡The YMCAHK x HKSYU 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞-𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞 aims to empower our aspiring student interns from diverse academic disciplines through experiential learning—integrating internship, volunteer service, reflection, and skills development.🫶🏽

The programme kicked off with an event held at the YMCAHK headquarters in February. The student interns and IAO team enjoyed fun mini-games, a goal-setting session, and a creative toy upcycling workshop conducted by . Everyone had a fantastic time learning, sharing, and connecting! 🎯🎨

✨ A big shout-out to our psychology student, Rebecca, who drew a beautiful signage for the occasion that perfectly captured the spirit of service and teamwork! 🙌
