🏆【喜訊｜HTI教授榮獲國際醫學物理獎項】🎉

香港理工大學醫療科技及資訊學系（HTI）黎田助理教授榮獲 2026 PN Krishnamoorthy Memorial AFOMP Young Achiever Award！👏✨

由亞洲大洋洲醫學物理組織聯盟（AFOMP）頒發的 Young Achiever Award 旨在表彰青年醫學物理專業人才的傑出成就。黎教授於2026年9月11日在韓國釜山舉行的第26屆亞洲大洋洲醫學物理大會（AOCMP 2026）上接受該獎項，以表揚其在相關領域的卓越表現。🌏🏅

黎教授現任理大醫學物理理學碩士課程主任，研究領域涵蓋定量及四維磁力共振成像、人工智能、影像引導及精準放射治療，致力推動先進醫學影像技術的臨床應用，提升癌症治療的精準度與成效。🔬

此外，黎教授自2023年起擔任國際醫學物理期刊 Medical Physics 副編輯，積極促進醫學物理研究與臨床實踐的融合。

🏆【Good News | HTI's Professor Receives International Medical Physics Award】🎉

PolyU HTI is delighted to announce that Assistant Professor LI Tian has been awarded the 2026 PN Krishnamoorthy Memorial AFOMP Young Achiever Award! 👏✨

Presented by the Asia-Oceania Federation of Organizations for Medical Physics (AFOMP), this prestigious award recognises outstanding achievements by young professionals in medical physics. Prof. LI received the award at the 26th Asia-Oceania Congress of Medical Physics (AOCMP 2026) in Busan, South Korea, on 11 September. 🌏🏅

Prof. LI currently serves as the Programme Leader of PolyU's MSc in Medical Physics. His research focuses on quantitative and 4D MRI, artificial intelligence, image-guided radiotherapy and precision radiotherapy, aiming to advance medical imaging technologies and improve cancer treatment outcomes.

Since 2023, he has also served as an Associate Editor of the international journal Medical Physics, actively bridging scientific research and clinical practice.🔬

Congratulations to Prof. LI on this remarkable achievement! This international recognition highlights his outstanding contributions to medical physics and healthcare innovation!🎊

🎓MMLS首屆畢業典禮圓滿舉行｜畢業快樂，醫療化驗科學大家庭！

2026年10月9日晚上，HTI 舉辦首屆醫療化驗科學碩士 (MMLS) 畢業典禮🎉

這是 MMLS 第一屆畢業生的重要里程碑✨
✅全港首個取得認證、符合 Part 2 註冊資格的碩士課程
✅完成高達 400 小時於 ISO 15189 認可實驗室的臨床實習，累積豐富實戰經驗
✅首屆畢業生擁有亮眼的職業發展成果

典禮邀請到公營、私營機構及專業協會嘉賓、系主任、課程主任與教學團隊出席。當晚設有致辭、頒獎、MMLS 短片分享、畢業生代表發言、嘉賓寄語、集體大合照以及茶點交流環節。

🎓 MMLS First‑Cohort Graduation Ceremony Completed! Congratulations to our MMLS family!

On the evening of 9 October 2026，PolyU HTI held the First Graduation Ceremony for the Master of Medical Laboratory Science (MMLS).

This marks a key milestone for our pioneer cohort✨
✅ First accredited master programme eligible for Part 2 registration in Hong Kong
✅ Up to 400‑hour clinical placement in ISO 15189‑accredited laboratories for rich hands‑on exposure
✅ Strong career outcomes for our first‑batch graduates

Guests from public sector, private sector and professional associations, department head, programme leaders and teaching team joined the celebration.
The night featured speeches, awards presentation, MMLS video sharing, student valedictory address, group photo session and networking with refreshments.

We appreciate the warm greetings and best wishes from industry guests.

【HEROCARE 於 2026 年世界癌症大會綻放光彩🌍】

理大 HTI 李泳怡教授於香港舉行的 2026 年世界癌症大會（World Cancer Congress 2026）主持專題環節，聯同來自中國香港、加拿大、澳洲及蒙古國的專家，分享兒童癌症影像檢查及放射治療的準備工作。

團隊亦於大會上分享兩項研究成果：

🎮 HEROCARE：以遊戲化教育協助兒童認識及準備放射治療
🧸 MagicScans：與智樂兒童遊樂協會（PlayRight）合作，於香港兒童醫院透過遊戲協助兒童準備CT及MRI檢查

HTI 致力推動研究與臨床實踐，透過國際合作，為兒童及家庭提供更全面的癌症照護支援。🌏✨

【HEROCARE Shines on the Global Stage at the World Cancer Congress 2026🌍】

Professor Shara Lee of PolyU HTI hosted a dedicated session at the World Cancer Congress 2026 in Hong Kong, bringing together experts from Hong Kong, Canada, Australia and Mongolia to share insights on preparing children for cancer imaging and radiotherapy.

The team also shared two research projects at the Congress:

🎮 HEROCARE: Gamified education and preparation for children undergoing radiation therapy
🧸 MagicScans: Play-based preparation for CT and MRI examinations at the Hong Kong Children’s Hospital, in collaboration with PlayRight

🏥 廣州中醫藥大學金沙洲醫院到訪理大HTI

9月24日，廣州中醫藥大學金沙洲醫院代表團到訪香港理工大學醫療科技及資訊學系（HTI），雙方就醫療科技研究、臨床合作等議題展開交流。

交流會上，HTI系主任蔡璟教授歡迎代表團到訪並介紹學系發展概況。雙方分別介紹各自研究成果，隨後進行自由討論。代表團還參觀了放射學及核醫藥實驗室。

此次訪問為雙方在核醫藥、放射學及腫瘤治療等領域的進一步合作搭建了溝通平台。

🏥 Jinshazhou Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine Visits PolyU HTI

On 24 September, a delegation from Jinshazhou Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine visited PolyU's Department of Health Technology and Informatics (HTI) for discussions on medical technology research and clinical collaboration.

Prof. Cai Jing, Head of HTI, welcomed the delegation and introduced the Department. Both sides presented their research, followed by an open discussion. The delegation also toured the Radiography and Nuclear Medicine Laboratory.

The visit provided a platform for future collaboration in nuclear medicine, radiography, and oncology treatment.
