🌍 Joint Humanitarian Entrepreneurship Winter Academy 2027

Are you an undergraduate student ready for a unique winter break experience? Apply to join a transformative program combining travel, service, and learning!

Programme:
🌏 Destinations: Philippines, Bangladesh, Malaysia
💡 Projects: Inclusive Business, Humanitarian Action, Gerontechnology
📅 Dates:
_Philippines: 2-10 Jan 2027
_Bangladesh: 20-31 Dec 2026 (TBC)
_Malaysia: 2-7 Jan 2027

🎓 Eligibility: All undergraduate students
💰 Programme Fee: $2,000 fee + $3,000 deposit (fully refundable upon completion)
📚 Credits: Earn 3 credits for Term2 AY2026/27 & fulfill Service-Learning grad requirement

✔️ OSL covers airfare, accommodation, & some meals!
✔️ Mandatory attendance for all pre-trip training and program activities.
✔️ Shortlisted candidates must attend an in-person interview.

🌏 Humanitarian Technology Summer Internship 2026｜系列2

除咗埋頭開發創新方案，HTSI嘅同學仔仲走出課室，親身了解香港唔同社區嘅需要🤝

實習期間，佢哋參觀咗多間 NGO、社會企業同社區合作夥伴，了解唔同服務模式；亦深入探訪劏房住戶，聆聽居民嘅生活故事，認識香港基層面對嘅挑戰。

另外，同學仔仲參觀咗樂齡科技中心👵、體驗香港本地文化，同來自世界各地嘅夥伴互相交流，從唔同角度認識香港。

雖然今年夏天天氣唔算太合作，時晴時雨🌦️，但相信呢段旅程帶畀大家嘅學習、友誼同回憶，都會成為人生中珍貴嘅一頁❤️

🌍 Humanitarian Technology Summer Internship 2026｜系列1

今年暑假，共有22位同學嚟自世界各地，包括香港、內地大灣區、美國、英國、菲律賓等地，一齊參與 Humanitarian Technology Summer Internship 2026！🙌

📅 15/6/2026 – 24/7/2026
喺6星期入面，同學仔分成4個跨學科團隊，結合科技、人本設計同創新思維，回應唔同社區需要。

🚁 Drone Team

每一隊都由研究開始，了解使用者需要，再設計、測試同改善 prototype，希望透過科技，為社區帶來真正有用同可持續嘅解決方案💡❤️

今年暑假，Office of Service-Learning迎來咗一班充滿活力嘅實習生！👏

其中5位同學喺實習期間參與咗唔同範疇嘅工作，包括：
📱 社交媒體內容創作
💻 Coding 同數碼支援
📚 行政及研究工作
🤝 本地青年活動籌備

由策劃、執行到幕後支援，5位同學都投入咗好多心機，同我哋一齊完成唔少工作，展現出責任感同創意💪

多謝你哋今個夏天嘅付出，希望今次實習可以成為大家未來發展嘅重要一步！✨

🎉 2026 Summer Academy系列5

快樂嘅時間總係過得特別快🥹 轉眼間，Summer Academy 已經嚟到最後一日。

香港同菲律賓嘅同學仔一齊準備咗精彩表演🎭，亦向社區展示呢10日努力完成嘅成果，同大家分享每個項目背後嘅理念同建議💡

除咗 project presentation，同學仔仲同社區居民一齊交流、慶祝，為呢段旅程畫上一個難忘嘅句號❤️
每一次道別都好唔捨得，但正正因為曾經一齊學習、一齊努力，所以更加期待下一次再相遇👋🇵🇭

多謝每一位社區夥伴、合作單位，同每位同學，令今年 Summer Academy 成為一段充滿回憶同意義嘅旅程！

💧 2026 Summer Academy系列4

另一組喺 Tingloy Island 嘅同學仔，就將焦點放喺「乾淨水」問題🚰

由於部分村落取得乾淨水並唔容易，居民每日都要花唔少時間同心力去取水，亦面對水質唔穩定嘅問題。

同學仔透過家訪、實地考察同訪問居民，深入了解當地用水情況，再結合工程同設計概念，研發一套唔需要點用電嘅濾水系統 prototype⚙️💧

呢個設計除咗成本相對較低之外，亦更加容易維修同持續使用，希望真正切合社區需要，令更多居民可以方便咁獲得安全食水❤️

🌱 2026 Summer Academy系列3

另外兩組同學仔就去到菲律賓 Tingloy Island🏝️，同當地社區一齊面對真實挑戰。

其中一組聚焦農業灌溉💧🌾，實地走訪農地，同農民深入交流，了解當地灌溉系統、種植環境同日常面對嘅困難。

透過多次實地考察、訪談同分析，同學仔整理咗現況，同社區一齊討論更可行、更符合當地需要嘅灌溉改善方案，希望可以提升農作物生產，同時減輕農民日常負擔🚜💡

真正嘅創新，就係由聆聽開始。❤️

🍫 2026 Summer Academy系列2

今次其中一組同學仔去到菲律賓 Lipa City🇵🇭，認識當地一項歷史悠久嘅傳統產業——Tablea！

Tablea係製作菲律賓傳統熱朱古力嘅可可磚☕🍫，同學仔今次同當地品牌 Bryans' Tablea 緊密合作，深入了解由可可豆加工到產品製作嘅整個流程。

除咗走訪工場、了解生產工序之外，佢哋仲同負責人交流市場推廣同品牌發展，一齊研究點樣改善生產流程、提升產品形象，同開拓更多市場機會📦📈

希望透過創新思維，協助呢份充滿文化特色嘅傳統產業，可以畀更多人認識同支持❤️
