📚Year 4 (Student exchange program in Year 3 Semester B)

Last semester, I got the chance to go for the student exchange program at Tilburg University in the Netherlands. This five and a half months gave me the incredible opportunity to travel around Europe and build essential life skills! I have experienced the different kinds of learning mode, which requires more independent learning than Hong Kong.📚 More importantly, my English communication skills improved so much. I gained the confidence to speak up, got comfortable with casual small talk, and learned how to build much closer, more mutually supportive friendships.

To welcome new students, the university hosts Arrival Day, its lively TOP Week social introduction, and mandatory academic program briefings. It was the first chance for me to meet some other exchange students. The local students brought us to explore both the city and the campus. We also had parties and sports together and had so much fun! 🎉

Netherlands is famous for its bike-friendly streets and vibrant historic cities. I have explored 10 countries within my exchange journey, including France, Malta, Germany, Lithuania, etc, and it completely opened my eyes. ✈️ This exchange journey was the highlight of my university life!

Private Wealth Management Association (“PWMA”) is an industry association dedicated to fostering the growth and development of Hong Kong’s private wealth management industry.
Hong Kong Monetary Authority (“HKMA”) and PWMA have jointly organized an apprenticeship programme for private wealth management (“PWM”) in Hong Kong.

🏦 Programme
The Apprenticeship Programme features a flexible, paid summer apprenticeship at a host PWM institution. The Programme aims to provide university students with front-to-back training and hands-on experience in the private wealth management business. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to learn about different investment products, client services, operations, marketing, compliance, and risk management etc. The experience gained through the Programme will provide students with a solid foundation for a career in the private wealth management industry.
