Today, the HKJC Centre for Su***de Research and Prevention (CSRP), led by Professor Paul Yip, released new findings on the relationship between media, social media, and su***de in Hong Kong, highlighting the growing importance of responsible online communication.

๐ŸŒฟ How can cities become greener, healthier, and more liveable?ย 

Professor Wendy Chan from HKUโ€™s Department of Geography is reshaping urban greening in China through the development of quality indicators that prioritisebiodiversity and native species. Her research is helping Guangzhou and more than 200 cities enhance urban liveability for over one billion residents, while also contributing to UN recommendations for sustainable cities worldwide.ย
