Dean’s List Presentation Ceremony

The Dean’s List Presentation Ceremony was held on 13 January 2026 at the 1/F Agile Sports Hall, HKMU Jockey Club Campus. The ceremony recognised the efforts and achievements of students with excellent academic results in the 2024-2025 academic year by presenting them with awards. Additionally, a photo zone was set up at the Exhibition Gallery, adjacent to the 1/F Agile Sports Hall, to allow award recipients to take photos with their relatives and friends and faculty members. After the ceremony, a Pun Choi luncheon was arranged, where faculty members and students were invited to enjoy lunch together.

In the 2024-2025 academic year, 254 students were eligible to receive the Dean’s List award. The ceremony provided an excellent opportunity for the award recipients to share their joy and achievements with their guests, the Dean (A&SS), and faculty members. The Pun Choi luncheon also offered faculty members and students a chance to interact.

【創意寫作碩士生屢獲文學賽事認可✏Master's students in creative writing recognised in literary contests】

創意寫作文學碩士課程學生及畢業生文采斐然，於多項文學比賽中脫穎而出，屢獲殊榮🎉。

學生黃仙進以作品〈改衣記〉於「『古井貢杯』首屆全國高校創意寫作大賽」中奪得一等獎✨。李文龍則以小說〈龍鳳〉在第13屆「臺中文學獎」取得小說類第二名👍。張渤晗則透過〈人工智能背景下茅盾文學的傳承與創新〉一文於「首屆全國大學生茅盾研究徵文大賽」中獲新秀獎。

此外，畢業生吳蓮欣以作品〈下一站，黃大仙〉於「2025時代杯『中國心·香港情』全球華文創作大賽」中奪散文組冠軍🏆。她的另一項創作〈像我這樣的一個男子〉則在「2024年中文文學創作獎」取得小說組優異獎。黃偉興通過〈奔赴星辰大海的光〉一作，在「第一屆廣東創意寫作獎」獲評論獎✏；而付煒的組詩《造雲工廠》於第十屆「青春文學獎」獲詩歌獎暨2024年度十大校園詩人獎👍。

Students and graduates of the master's programme in Creative Writing showcased their exceptional writing skills in various literary contests, earning numerous accolades🎉.

Student Huang Xianjin won First Prize✨ at the inaugural “Gujing Distillery” National College Creative Writing Competition, for his work “Clothes Alteration”. Li Wenlong's novel “Dragon and Phoenix” was awarded first runner-up👍 in the Fiction category at the 13th Taichung Literature Awards. Meanwhile, Zhang Bohan received the New Talent Award at the First National Mao Dun Research Essay Competition for Tertiary Students for his essay “Inheritance and Innovation of Mao Dun’s Literature under the Development of Artificial Intelligence”.

Graduate Wu Lianxin achieved remarkable success with her work “The Next Station is Wong Tai Sin”, which won championship🏆 in the Prose category in the 2025 Times Cup “Chinese Heart, Hong Kong Love” Global Chinese Writing Competition. Another of her works, “A Man Like Me”, earned the Merit Award in Fiction in the 2024 Awards for Creative Writing in Chinese. Huang Weixing won the Criticism Award✏ in the First Guangdong Creative Writing Awards with his article “The Light Pointing Towards the Ocean of Stars”. Additionally, Fu Wei claimed the Poetry Award and was named one of the “Top Ten Poets of 2024”👍 in the Tenth Youth Literary Awards for his serial poem “Cloud Factory”.

各位同學，由香港都會大學圖書館、人文社會科學院及田家炳中華文化中心主辦，並由香港圖書館協會及香港檔案學會協辦的「張愛玲、宋淇及宋鄺文美講座系列之三」公開講座將於2025年6月28日舉行，是次活動邀請到香港都會大學圖書館副館長鄧浩標先生擔任主講嘉賓，與香港都會大學人文社會科學院副院長及田家炳中華文化中心主任梁慕靈博士對談，題目是「信」是有「緣」：張愛玲、宋淇及宋鄺文美手稿遺物的管理及承傳。

此外，活動當日將展出張愛玲的珍貴遺物與手稿，這些文學瑰寶由張愛玲遺產管理人宋以朗博士及其姊宋元琳女士慷慨捐贈予香港都會大學，旨在推動現代文學作品的保育、傳承和研究。展品將於上午11時至下午1時開放予已報名的嘉賓參觀，讓大家近距離感受這些珍貴文物的文化價值。
