保險、財務與精算學系系會於二零零二年成立至今, 一直全心全意服務會員。踏入第十四個年頭, 本年度第十四屆候選幹事會「精暉」(SiFaleray)定當繼續秉承本會宗旨, 竭盡所能為各會員服務。
本年度候選幹事會中文名稱為「精暉」。「精」代表本會—「保險、財務與精算學系系會」, 亦代表本幹事會由一群精英組成, 追求卓越, 精益求精。而「暉」則代表本幹事會有如陽光照耀大地的光輝。當旭日初升, 照亮大地, 各人事物才能散發自己獨一無二的光輝。另外, 本年度候選幹事會英文名稱為「Sifaleray」, 源自valeray一字, 代表我們的前路不管有多曲折, 都會遇強愈強, 致力解決任何問題, 幫助同學勇往直前。
This year marks the 14th year for The Society of Insurance,Financial and Actuarial Analysis (SIFA). Since its establishment in 2002, the society has been carrying out its duty to the fullest, serving as support and guidance to its fellow members. We, the 14th proposed cabinet of 2015-2016, SiFaleray, are determined to bring the society to the next glorious heyday. Our proposed cabinet’s name, SiFaleray, is formed by the combination of “SIFA” and “Valeray”. The word Valeray is of Latin origin, which means strong. Though the road to excellence may be tough, we promise to be the wise protector of students in IFAA, to aid them through obstacles and challenges throughout this year. As for our Chinese name, "精暉", the first chinese character refers to us always endeavoring to do better and pursue perfectionism. The second character serves as a metaphor, meaning we will make use of our talents to shine upon others, as the sun lightens the world. Today, we are here to stand beside you, to lead you towards your dreams.
