🎉🏆CityUHK Won Two Awards in the Commendation Scheme on Source Separation of Commercial and Industrial Waste 2024/25🏆🎉

CityUHK is committed to the principles of sustainability and continual improvement of its environmental performance, recognizing its obligations both locally and globally, to the present and succeeding generations.

The commitment is reflected in winning the “Bronze Award” and “Award for Promotion” in the category of “Other Types of Buildings” under the “Commendation Scheme on Source Separation of Commercial and Industrial Waste 2024/25” (the Scheme). The Scheme is organised by the Environmental Protection Department (EPD) on a yearly basis, which aims at encouraging Commercial and Industrial (C&I) premises to monitor the effectiveness of the existing mechanisms, and keep improving the waste separation and recovery arrangements.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the whole CityUHK Community for your continual support to the waste reduction as well as the sustainability achievements at the University.
