🎉黃世萬教授獲授新加坡醫學專科學院訪問院士榮銜

JCSPHPC 副院長(環球事務)及副教授黃世萬獲新加坡醫學專科學院(Academy of Medicine, Singapore, AMS)委任為2026年度訪問院士(Visiting Academician),以表彰他多年來在同一健康(One Health)、數碼健康及區域衞生安全等領域的卓越貢獻。

訪問期間,黃教授應邀出席第二十屆新加坡公共衞生及職業醫學會議,以「跨越人類邊界:構建數碼同一健康基礎設施作跨境疾病監測」(Beyond Human Borders: Building a Digital One Health Infrastructure for Transboundary Disease Surveillance)為題發表專題演講及參與研討,分享有關抗菌素耐藥性、微生物組科學、跨境傳染病監測等範疇的最新科研見解。

黃教授表示,期待繼續深化 JCSPHPC 與新加坡公共衞生界的合作,鞏固學院與區內夥伴在研究及知識交流方面的聯繫。

新加坡醫學專科學院成立於1957年,為當地最大醫學及牙科專科組織,轄下學院與分會匯聚超過4,200名會員。學院每年透過訪問院士計劃,委任少數傑出的本地及國際專家,促進國際醫學交流,並推動醫學及公共衞生深造教育。

📝預設醫療指示 如何「慎入易出」「善終善別」?

《維持生命治療的預作決定條例》(第651章)已於今年7月31日正式生效。在條例下,成年病人可以在自己有精神能力的時候,自願訂立指示,預先表明當自己一旦喪失精神能力及在符合其指明的先決條件時(如罹患某些末期疾病,或陷入不可逆轉昏迷),希望拒絕的維持生命治療(如心肺復甦術、人工輔助呼吸,以及人工供給營養及液體等),但病人不能透過指示拒絕基本照顧(如向病人口腔餵食及給水、維持衞生、減輕痛楚的非醫療措施等)及紓緩治療。政府表示,「預設醫療指示」秉持「慎入易出」的原則,訂立指示前須充分理解及審慎權衡,同時只要訂立者仍然精神健全,便可以隨時將其更改或撤銷。

JCSPHPC 副教授鍾一諾教授,近日接受無綫新聞《時事多面睇》和《明報》訪問,談及新法例的意義與實踐挑戰,並提出簽署指示前需要考慮的要點。

⌛鍾教授解釋「慎入易出」的原則:訂立指示的門檻必須嚴謹,因為這關乎病人不再接受維持生命治療、步向死亡的重大後果;同時「易出」的原則亦保障病人改變主意的空間。他在《明報》報道中補充,病人應按個人健康狀況,例如具體病情和預期壽命,決定是否簽署預設醫療指示,情況因人而異。

💬鍾教授建議香港加強生死教育,不再將死亡視為禁忌;他提醒,病人即使簽署了法律文件,仍應與醫護團隊及家人充分溝通,以免日後引起爭拗。他亦指出,華人社會重視孝道,而了解和尊重父母(病人)的意願亦是孝順的體現;這不單是「善終」,更是「善別」。

🩺政府建議,有興趣了解或考慮訂立預設醫療指示的市民,可與熟悉其狀況的醫生商討,由醫生按病人情況提供適切建議。

📢【誠邀參與研究】空氣質素與你息息相關

香港中文大學 JCSPHPC 聯同香港理工大學和香港大學的研究團隊,誠邀香港慢性阻塞性肺病患者參與研究,了解空氣污染對健康的影響,從而協助改善香港空氣質素和公共衞生。

【合資格參加者】
✅ 經醫生確診穩定期慢性阻塞性肺病
✅ 在本港醫院定期覆診的居港華人
✅ 未吸煙/ 已戒煙超過 6 個月
✅ 無其他肺病(如結核、哮喘等)
✅ 無骨折、嚴重心肝腎病、嚴重感染、精神疾病或癌症

1)完成一份約 5 分鐘的問卷及參與篩選

2)分別在夏季和冬季,連續 4 週,每週攜帶空氣採樣器 2 天

3)在每週採樣的最後一天進行肺功能和氣道炎症吹氣測量,並收集尿液和呼出氣冷凝物樣本

4)由隨訪註冊護理師分別在夏、冬兩季最後一週採集 10mL 血液樣本 1 次

【𝗘𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆】
✅ Diagnosed with stable COPD
✅ Hong Kong Chinese residents attending regular follow-ups at a local hospital
✅ Non-smoker or have quit smoking for at least 6 months
✅ No other lung diseases, e.g. tuberculosis, asthma
✅ No bone fractures, severe heart, liver, or kidney diseases, severe infections, mental illnesses, or cancer

1) Complete the questionnaire and undergo eligibility screening

2) Wear a portable air sampler for 2 days per week, over 4 consecutive weeks in both summer and winter

3) Undergo lung function and airway inflammation tests, and provide urine and exhaled breath condensate samples, on the last day of each weekly sampling

4) A registered nurse will follow up and collect a 10mL blood sample once in summer and once in winter

🩺所衞何事 | 在世界邊端,尋找「low tech但有效」的人道醫學

𝗝𝗖𝗦𝗣𝗛𝗣𝗖陳英凝教授最近獲頒「郭氏集團全球公共衞生及人道醫學教授席」(𝗞𝘂𝗼𝗸 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲)。在就職講座中,陳教授分享了她多年來投身人道醫療、災害風險管理及全球衞生工作的經驗與體會。

陳教授以她和共享基金會團隊在湯加(𝗧𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗮)的登革熱防控工作為例,說明公共衞生不只是研究數據和制定政策,更需要走進社區、了解當地的實際需要,並與不同夥伴攜手尋找可持續的解決方案。團隊並非單純依賴高科技方案,而是在當地醫院、機場、港口及主要出入口部署防蚊燈等物理防控措施,並推廣家庭及社區層面的防蚊方法,以加強對登革熱的預防和監測。

這種重視實踐與社區參與的理念,貫穿陳教授多年來的研究與服務。陳教授强調,面對日益複雜的全球健康挑戰,科技固然重要,但真正推動改變的,仍然是以人為本的關懷、跨界別合作,以及對人類尊嚴的堅持。
