We all remember that one teacher 🧑🏻‍🏫

The one who believed in us when we weren’t sure we believed in ourselves. The one whose advice stayed with us long after the class ended. The one who taught us something that had little to do with the subject, and everything to do with life.

That’s what makes teaching such a meaningful role. It’s not only about sharing knowledge. It’s about encouraging curiosity, challenging perspectives, offering guidance, and helping students discover what they’re capable of becoming.

To every faculty member who has been part of our story: thank you for everything you do for our students, for the lessons, the advice, the encouragement, and all the little moments that may stay with them for years to come.

You’re not just shaping what our students know. You’re helping shape who they become.

Happy World Teachers’ Day! 🧡
Thank you for making a difference every day 🐯

At this year’s Weekend Media Festival (Weekend.hr), our President and Dean, Dr. Irena Guszak, participated in the panel “The Infamous 33%: Quota, Window Dressing or Real Influence?”, exploring women’s representation in leadership through the perspectives of the corporate sector, human resources, and education.

Dr. Guszak emphasized that developing leadership knowledge should go hand in hand with practical leadership experience, particularly for young people. Providing opportunities to take initiative, assume responsibility, and learn through experience, both within and beyond the classroom, is an important part of developing future leaders.

Thank you to fellow panelists Ana Dorić Škeva and Lara Šubić Šuša for sharing their valuable perspectives, and to moderator and RIT Croatia alumna Iva Ančić for guiding this inspiring discussion!
