Every year, Orientation Day marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our newest students!

This year, we’re thrilled to welcome 218 first-year students to our Zagreb and Dubrovnik campuses, coming from 22 different countries and bringing new cultures, ideas, and perspectives to our community.

As a new era unfolds for the RIT Croatia Alumni Community, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to outgoing President Angela Krčelić for her three years of dedicated leadership, milestone achievements, and tireless work in bridging our global network. Looking ahead, we warmly congratulate Niko Katušić on stepping into the role of President alongside Andrea Kecić as Vice President as they take the reins to lead our 3,400+ alumni community into its next chapter. With Niko’s vision to engage, support, and contribute, and Andrea’s focus on expanding international connections, the association is in exceptional hands.

From rowing to roaring! 🥇

What a weekend for Kate Agare, our third-year Global Business Management student, who took 1st place in the W1x category at the 16th European Universities Rowing Championship at Lake Jarun in Zagreb! Representing RIT Croatia and Croatia, Kate powered through the 2 km race in 7 minutes and 58 seconds!

We couldn’t be prouder of this amazing achievement and all the hard work behind it. Congratulations, Kate!

🚣‍♀️ Ready, set, row!

Kate Agare, a third-year Global Business Management student, will represent RIT Croatia and Croatia at the 16th European Universities Rowing Championship at Lake Jarun in Zagreb, taking place August 26–29.

With around 500 athletes from 77 universities across 23 European countries taking part, Kate is in for an incredible experience — and we’ll be following along and cheering her on every step of the way!

Good luck, Kate! We’ll be rooting for you! 🐯

🎉 Cue the spotlight. Our Tigers made it to the finals!

Huge congratulations to New Media Design students Leon Krile, Ida Mihaica, Nora Miškulin, Nutsa Sesiashvili, Asita Singh, Đivo Vidak, and Magdalena Žulj, who have been selected as finalists for the ZGDW Award across Graphic Design, Product Design, and Digital Communication Design & Interaction Design categories!

From packaging and product design to digital experiences, cultural storytelling, and interactive games, their projects show just how many directions creativity can take. Behind these projects are the mentorship and guidance of Dr. Mia Klemenčić, Dr. Jurica Dolić, and Dr. Petar Branislav Jelušić, whose expertise helped students turn their ideas into thoughtful, creative, and engaging design work.
