💬What do we have in common?

We are happy to share that the conference Social Work Resistance has officially started, this year from September 1-3 at Inter University Centre Dubrovnik!

This programme brings together scholars and practitioners to explore the relationship between social work, resistance, care, and social change. This year Social Work Resistance tackles the title - The Care in Charge.

We are happy to report that the publication of a book from the project "Researching Europe, Digitalisation and Conspiracy Theories", which was a part of an IUC Dubrovnik academic programme.

The book is dealing with how experiences with freedom of speech, the role of the press, democratic and epistemological norms, levels of state control, conflict, authoritarianism and propaganda shape online conspiracy theories and the response to them.

This week at Inter University Centre Dubrovnik we are hosting the XI Dubrovnik International Conference on The Sanskrit Epics And Puranas - DICSEP 2026.

The Conference explores ongoing research, including critical text editing, literary and historical analysis, mythology, computer tools, and the tradition's contemporary significance. This year's theme are Waters and Forests, as well as current work and research on the Sanskrit epics and Purāṇas.
