Building global academic partnerships! 🌎

Petar Pepur and Marko Miletić, Dean and Vice-Dean of the University Department of Professional Studies, recently visited the National University of La Matanza through the Erasmus+ program.

This visit offered a valuable opportunity to explore the campus and engage with university representatives, strengthening the bond between our institutions and opening doors for future academic cooperation between Croatia and Argentina! 🇭🇷🤝🏻🇦🇷

Yesterday, Europe lost a quite gigant. Sofia Corradi-known to many as ‘Mamma Erasmus’, passed away in Rome.

Some 16 million students have participated in the project since then, according to the Erasmus website. The program, which is managed by the European Union, promotes closer cooperation between universities and higher education institutions across Europe. Corradi said in 2018 that the idea of the program, born during the Cold War, was “my personal pacifist mission.”

We are delighted that the Erasmus+ from Argentina, La Matanza University have selected University of Split as their mobility destination during the summer semester 2024/2025. 😍
