BE UNIZD - Internationalization of Blue Education at University of Zadar is the project of a new joint graduate study in Maritime Management and courses in ecology and aquaculture. The framework of the project BE UNIZD - Internationalization of Blue Education at University of Zadar is the development and promotion of a new joint graduate study in Maritime Management and courses in ecology and aqua
culture in English, which will improve the quality of higher education and facilitate the mobility of students and teaching staff in this field of education. A new joint study program will be developed by the Department of Maritime Studies of the University of Zadar, in cooperation with The Faculty of Maritime Studies and Transport of University of Ljubljana and Flensburg University of Applied Sciences. In addition, the existing marine simulator will be upgraded through the project - relevant software will be acquired to create and customize high-quality 3D simulations. The Department of Ecology, Agronomy and Aquaculture of University of Zadar will develop new 6 courses within the graduate study program Sustainable management of Aquatic ecosystems through project. New courses will be offered as an elective option for foreign students and also for students from the University of Zadar, regardless of whether they are students from Department of Ecology, Agronomy and Aquaculture or not. The project BE UNIZD - Internationalization of Blue Education at University of Zadar is the result of continuous efforts by the University of Zadar to cooperate with partner institutions from the economy sector, especially the long-term partners of the University such as Tankerska plovidba INC., and other higher education institutions in the EU to improve the quality of higher education in line with the international competitive environment.
