U sklopu projekta UNILIB-HUB pripremili smo tri izlaganja, a danas predstavljamo prvo:
📚 Mapping Humanities Scholars’ Needs in Digital Research Environments: Toward Responsive Academic Library Services
Autorice su doc. dr. sc. Alica Kolarić, izv. prof. dr. sc. Martina Dragija Ivanović i prof. dr. sc.
Kako istraživači u humanistici koriste digitalne izvore i alate?
Uskoro predstavljamo i preostala dva izlaganja! ✨
📣 We’re looking forward to participating in the international Digital Humanities & Heritage conference, taking place in P**a, Croatia, on 7–9 October 2026!
We have prepared three presentations within the UNILIB-HUB project, and today we’re introducing the first:
📚 Mapping Humanities Scholars’ Needs in Digital Research Environments: Toward Responsive Academic Library Services
The authors are Alica Kolarić, PhD, Assistant Professor; Martina Dragija Ivanović, PhD, Associate Professor; and Marijana Tomić, PhD, Full Professor, from the Department of Information Sciences and Technologies at the University of Zadar. Marijana Tomić is also affiliated with the University’s Centre for Research in Glagolitism.
How do humanities researchers use digital sources and tools? What challenges do they face, and what support do they expect from libraries?
This presentation introduces the theoretical and methodological foundations of our ongoing research and its first phase of interviews with humanities scholars. It explores researchers’ practices and needs – from discovering and organising sources to using digital and AI tools and developing new skills. The aim is to lay the groundwork for library services that respond to researchers’ actual needs and strengthen libraries’ role as active research partners.
Stay tuned as we introduce our other two presentations! ✨
This presentation was prepared within the project The Library as an Accelerator of the Digital Transformation of Research in the Humanities and Cultural Heritage (UNILIB-HUB, IP-UNIZD2025-28070), funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
