S veseljem najavljujemo pripreme za 8. broj Antropološkog almanaha, stoga pozivamo sve zainteresirane studente antropologije i drugih srodnih disciplina da nam pošalju svoje radove!
Tema broja nije unaprijed zadana te prihvaćamo radove koji pokrivaju teme iz područja biološke, arheološke, lingvističke, kulturne, socijalne, primijenjene, medicinske i forenzične antropologije.
Rok za prijave je 1. lipnja 2026. godine.

With pleasure, we announce the submissions for the 8th issue of the Anthropological almanac magazine are open and therefore invite all interested students of anthropology and other related disciplines to submit their papers to us!
The theme of the issue is not specific, and we accept papers covering topics in the fields of biological, archaeological, linguistic, cultural, social, applied, medical and forensic anthropology.
The deadline for submissions is June 1, 2026.

🩸Akcija dobrovoljnog darivanja krvi na Filozofskom fakultetu! 🩸

Filozofski fakultet u suradnji sa Zavodom za transfuzijsku medicinu ponovno organizira akciju darivanja krvi u ponedjeljak, 15. prosinca 2025., u Vijećnici.

Ako želite i možete darovati krv, molimo vas da se prijavite putem obrasca u nastavku. Akcija će se provoditi od 9:00 do 14:00 sati, a u prijavnom obrascu možete odabrati termin koji vam najviše odgovara. Broj darivatelja po satu je ograničen.

Napustila nas je velika Jane Goodall...

With great sadness, the Jane Goodall Institute confirmed this morning the passing of the organization’s founder, Dr. Jane Goodall, age 91 who died peacefully in her sleep while in Los Angeles, CA for her speaking tour in the United States.

Dr. Goodall’s life and work not only made an indelible mark on our understanding of chimpanzees and other species, but also of humankind and the environments we all share. She inspired curiosity, hope and compassion in countless people around the world, and paved the way for many others — particularly young people who gave her hope for the future.

In 1960 Dr. Goodall established the longest running wild chimpanzee study in Gombe National Park, Tanzania which continues to this day. She pioneered and sustained the Jane Goodall Institute’s community-centered conservation initiatives across the chimpanzee range for over four decades. Her legacy includes the creation of JGI’s international environmental and humanitarian youth program Roots & Shoots, which is actively driving change in 75 countries and counting around the world.
