📢 NAJAVA JAVNOG PREDAVANJA!
Prof. Anna Osterholtz s Mississippi State University, SAD održat će u utorak, 30. lipnja, 2026. godine u 10 sati javno predavanje pod nazivom "Living and Dying in ancient Tragurium: the application of Osteobiography to Roman Bioarchaeology". Predavanje koje će se održati u knjižnici Instituta za antropologiju, Gajeva 32, predstavit će životne povijesti (osteobiografiju) stanovnika antičkog Trogira kroz analizu njihovih bioloških ostataka. 🤓

📢 PUBLIC LECTURE ANNOUNCEMENT!
Prof. Anna Osterholtz from Mississippi State University, USA will give a public talk entitled "Living and Dying in ancient Tragurium: the application of Osteobiography to Roman Bioarchaeology" on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 10 AM. The talk, which will be held in the library of the Institute for Anthropological Research, Gajeva 32, will present the life histories (osteobiography) of the inhabitants of ancient Trogir through the analysis of their biological remains. 🤓

Tema broja nije unaprijed zadana te prihvaćamo radove koji pokrivaju teme iz područja biološke, arheološke, lingvističke, kulturne, socijalne, primijenjene, medicinske i forenzične antropologije.

With pleasure, we announce the submissions for the 8th issue of the Anthropological almanac magazine are open and therefore invite all interested students of anthropology and other related disciplines to submit their papers to us!
The theme of the issue is not specific, and we accept papers covering topics in the fields of biological, archaeological, linguistic, cultural, social, applied, medical and forensic anthropology.
The deadline for submissions is June 1, 2026.
