Although we’ve been a bit more quiet during the year-end rush, we definitely haven't forgotten about introducing our alumni! Next up is Lola Pusztai, our management alumna, who specializes in marketing and event communication.

Lola juggles her projects just as effortlessly as she does words. Her standout work includes managing the communication for the 10-years-old Kolorádó Festival and the popular Hungarian band Csaknekedkislány. During her university years, she was also an integral part of organizing the Intermezzo Festival, the latest edition of which kicks off tomorrow!🚀

Get into the vibe of Intermezzo through Lola's story, and let's meet tomorrow at the House of Music Hungary!

INTERMEZZO IS BACK ON MAY 22!

The multidisciplinary festival co-hosted by MOME and the House of Music Hungary returns for its 4th edition!

This year, the palette is broader than ever. Alongside stunning visuals and incredible music, movement arts will take center stage, featuring a special collaboration with students from the Hungarian Dance University.

🎵 Music Lineup
This year’s performers bring ultimate genre diversity:
Samurai Drive – Noir-aesthetic electronic blues.
Gege & Bizmuth – A unique clash of improvisational rap and modular electronics.
Berlin Hotel Collective – Smooth jazz-funk fusion.
Telehold – Energy-packed indie-post-punk.
Gánjálló – Balkan and Eastern European melodies blended with free improvisation.

🎨 Exhibition & Installations
One of the festival's highlights is the MOME student pop-up exhibition, open from May 12 to 25 throughout the spaces of the House of Music Hungary. These site-specific installations explore the relationship between sound and visuals—capturing the "invisible" colors of sound, the constant variation of soundwaves, the dynamics of rhythm, and the monotonous noise of everyday life.

💃 Movement & Workshops
The visual experience will be elevated by the performances of the Hungarian Dance University students. You can also join an interactive workshop by the Wild & Resty dance studio, focusing on body awareness and movement dynamics.

🌌 Hangdóm
Complete your immersive journey with the Hangdóm's audiovisual sessions, where performances woven with organic sounds will take your perception of space and audio to a whole new dimension.

Intermezzo will also serve as the official closing event for the KIPAK week. Come and let’s celebrate the end of the semester together!

✼ Date: May 22, 2026, 17:00
✼ Venue: House of Music Hungary (Magyar Zene Háza)

Our students have some packed days coming up... and we couldn't be more excited!🚀
As part of the Business Economics course, students have organized three unique events you won't want to miss.

Mark your calendars! 🗓️

📸 Echo Photo Exhibition
When: April 30
Where: The small meadow next to MOME ONE
The goal of the Echo pop-up exhibition is to make local underground festival culture visible and tangible on the MOME campus. The displayed photos are documentary shots taken at festivals, which not only provide an aesthetic experience but also offer insight into a subcultural environment.

🎬 MOME MUSTRA
When: May 3
Where: MANYI
A one-time, spontaneous screening event created to bridge the gap between Budapest’s film students. Whether you are from ELTE, SzFE, METU, MOME, or freeSzFE, this is the place to be. Join us at MANYI to watch new and classic short films, meet fellow creators, and build professional soul-connections.

🧵 Kisvakond Workshop
When: May 3
Where: Repair Café
Ready to get creative? We invite you to a special atmosphere of "repair and reimagine." Bring your favorite worn-out, torn, or "waiting-to-be-fixed" clothes, and let’s give them a second life together! It’s all about sustainability, upcycling, and community crafting.
