Yesterday, the University of Pécs / Pécsi Tudományegyetem hosted a delegation from Djibouti. We had great discussions about future collaboration with Dr. Ali Miganeh Hadi, Directeur de Centre de Recherche en Transport et Logistique, Maître de Conférences en Droit Maritime - Portuaire, Université de Djibouti et Chercheur associé au Centre de Droit Maritime Océanique de Nantes, together with Deputy CEO Youssouf Djama Farah representing the Ethio-Djibouti Railway, the Addis Ababa–Djibouti Railway (AADR) – the African continent’s first standard-gauge, electrified, multi-country railway. We had the chance to talk with Csaba Szabó, Regional Director, MÁV Railway Infrastructure Operations Co. Ltd., Pécs Regional Railway Infrastructure Directorate and his great team of experts, as well as Dr. Attila Fülöp, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, Institute of Smart Technologies and Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology / Pécsi Tudományegyetem Műszaki és Informatikai Kar. We intend to sign an MoU soon, and begin exchanging professors and experts, while organizing training programmes for colleagues and professionals.
