🎹 Workshop of World-Class Artists – Masterclass by Zoltán Fejérvári

The joint masterclass series of the Szeged Symphony Orchestra and the Béla Bartók Faculty of Arts at the University of Szeged, the World Stars Workshop, continues. 👥The next guest in the series is Hungarian pianist Zoltán Fejérvári, who will give a masterclass for students of the SZTE BBMK.

📍Masterclass: 18th April 2026, 2:30 PM, Korzó Music Hall

🙌 The course is open to the public, so anyone can attend as a passive participant.

🎹🎵 Tamás Ungár, Professor of the Texas Christian University, held a piano master class for our students at the Ferenc Fricsay Concert Hall.
🎼 The Hungarian-born pianist studied at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music under Alexander Sverjensky’s supervision, later he earned his doctorate at Indiana University under György Sebők’s supervision. 🇺🇸 He is one of the most respected piano teachers in the United States and also teaches and performs in many countries around the world. 🌍

🎹 Márta Gulyás (Professor of the Liszt Ferenc University of Music in Budapest and the Zsófia Királyné Academy of Music in Madrid) and Luis Fernando Pérez (Spain, professor of the Katarina Gurska University of Music in Madrid, Cordoba Conservatory and the Marshall Academy in Barcelona) hold an international piano and chamber music master class for the 18th time at the Bartók Béla Music School in Békéscsaba (Hungary) between 22-31.
August 2026. for students and young artists. 🗓️
🎵🎶 The masterclass offers several performance opportunities to the participants, in addition to the gala concert, the young people can present themselves at noon matinee concerts every day. The two professors will give also concert in the Bartók hall of the music school.

The purpose of 🔰 the Solti International Conducting Competition 🔰 is to discover and promote the conducting talent of the future. After a preliminary selection round, the selected competitors will be evaluated in three rounds before a prestigious international Jury in the three concert halls with the best acoustics in Hungary.

The Béla Bartók Faculty of Arts has held its first Orientation Day for freshmen coming from five different countries, who had the opportunity to get to know the cultural and educational venues of Szeged. 🏦🏢
