In conjunction with the Dialogue Session, Deakin University Lancaster University Indonesia also held Creative Art Exhibition: "Growing Together, Empowering Creative Artpreneurship" in collaboration with:
- Faculty of Art and Design, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB)
- Faculty of Creative Industry, TELKOM University
- Department of Visual Communication Design, BINUS University Bandung

The exhibition was officially opened by the Hon. Irene Umar, Vice Minister for Creative Economy, alongside:
- Prof. Iain Martin, Vice Chancellor, Deakin University
- Mr. Andy Ruswar, Director of Advertising, Ministry of Creative Economy
- Dr. Rudy Aryanto, Deputy Campus Director for Academic, Research and Student Development, BINUS University Bandung
- Dandi Yunidar, Ph.D., Dean, Faculty of Creative Industry, TELKOM University
- Zusfa Roihan, Faculty of Art and Design, Institut Teknologi Bandung.

The exhibition will be running from the 27th of April to 26th of May 2026 at DLI Art Gallery. The exhibition also featuring guest artists, Enrique Aaron Pranadi Setio and Haisha Amani Surbakti.

The Hon. Irene Umar explored the artworks and engaged directly with the artists as they shared the stories and ideas behind their unique creations.

On Monday, 27 April 2026, Deakin University Lancaster University Indonesia held a Dialogue Session titled “The Role of Higher Education Institutions on Creative Entrepreneurship Promotion and Strategies.”

The session featured keynote speaker The Hon. Irene Umar, Vice Minister of Creative Economy. Opening remarks were delivered by Prof. Greg Barton, Rector, DLI, and Prof. Iain Martin, Vice-Chancellor, Deakin University.

The dialogue highlighted the vital role of higher education institutions in fostering creative entrepreneurship and supporting Indonesia’s economic growth through innovation and collaboration.

The discussion was further enriched by a distinguished panel:
- Sonny Rustiadi, Ph.D, Chairman, Aliansi Program Studi Kewirausahaan Indonesia (APSKI)
- Dandi Yunidar, Ph.D, Dean, Faculty of Creative Industries, Telkom University
- Dr. Rudy Aryanto, Deputy Campus Director, Academic, Research, and Student Development, Binus University Bandung.
- Dr (Cand.) Rahayu Budhi Handayani, Lecturer, Universitas Ciputra.

The Deakin University Lancaster University Indonesia Trial Class brought together enthusiastic and inspiring students, all eager to experience what a real international university classroom feels like.

To make it even more immersive, participants were grouped based on their preferred degree, stepping into actual class discussions and engaging with our own lecturers. The experience was elevated by insights from industry experts, who shared real-world perspectives and career journeys.

At the end of the event, the students get to experience fun games where they had the opportunity to connect and get new friends.

Deakin University Lancaster University Indonesia (DLI) has officially become the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MORA) university partners for Beasiswa Indonesia Bangkit (BIB Scholarship), a prestigious fully funded scholarship of MORA and LPDP.

The Memorandum of Understanding has been signed by Dr. Ruchman Basori, S.Ag., M.Ag., Head of the Religious Education and Religious Educational Financing Centre (PUSPENMA) of MORA and Professor Greg Barton, Rector of DLI, witnessed by Arifin, Chief Operating Officer of DLI, at MORA office, Jakarta, on 15 April 2026.
