Who we are:
Economy and Environment Institute Indonesia (EEII) was formed by the Indonesian members of EEPSEA (Economy and Environment Program for Southesat Asia) network, a widely-known program in environmental economic research with a long tradition of capacity building program in the region. In 2016, EEPSEA evolved into the the Economy and Environment Partnership for Southeast Asia (EEPSEA) wi
th member-institutions from across Southeast Asian countries. EEII activities follow EEPSEA tradition of conducting rigorous research, provide trainings, and provide policy recommendation in the area where economic development and the environment are inter-linked. Vision:
EEII envisios a harmony between economy and the environment for a better Indonesia
EEII carries out the following missions:
(1) Improving public understanding on the linkage between the economy and the environment
(2) Influencing contemporary public policies relevant to the linkage between the economy and the environment

Our trainings: the trainings your EEI is offering now or in the future
(1) School of valuation – A regularly held training on the economic valuation of environmental services. It is to mainstream economic valuation of the environment to policy makers, business leaders, and academia. (2) Resource and environmental economics – A training designed for lecturer/reseachers from Indonesian universities and research institutions. (3) Economy-wide modeling for natural resource and environmental management – A training on the computable general equilibrium (CGE) modeling to be used in the area of environmental and natural resource economics.
