Congratulation to Siti Jahroh, PhD as ISSAAS Young Scientist 2016.
The International Society for Southeast Asian Agricultural Sciences (ISSAAS) was established in 1994 to strengthen cooperation among agricultural scientists in Asia, particularly Southeast Asia, and to bring together groups of professionals from many different countries with common interests in agricultural development in the region. ISSAAS International Congress and General Meeting 2016 was held on Nov 5th in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Siti Jahroh, PhD graduated from Tokyo University of Agriculture (TUA) and served as lecturer of Department of Agribusiness, Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM), Bogor Agricultural University(IPB). She is an active member since 2002 by presenting paper at the annual scientific meeting, and has participated as reviewer and journal editor up to present. ISSAAS has been awarded Siti Jahroh, PhD as “Young Scientist ” because she has contributed immensely and significantly to research for agricultural development in Indonesia and in the improvement and growth of ISSAAS. The award was witnessed by Prof. Yusman Syaukat , Dean of Faculty of Economic and Management (FEM), Bogor Agricultural University.
