THE COMPETITIONS
1. DEBATE
This competition there will be two government and opposition teams bring arguments of their own to motion. The format in this competition is British Parliamentary System. Each of them consist of 2 speakers who will carry out maximum seven minutes speech each. The purposes of this competition are to stimulate critical thinking, developing skill in delivering good and structured argument, to widen knowledge in various field, to integrate the spirit of a healthy competition in every participant.

2. SPEECH
This competition is an individual competition where the participants are required to give a speech based on the essay they wrote before. After giving speech for maximum 7 minutes, they will be asked questions based on their essay or speech. The aspects judged are the content of speech, grammar, usage, pronunciation, mimic, and their way of presenting the speech. The aims of this competition are to raise self-confidence and to develop the ability to write their ideas and convey it orally.

3. SCRABBLE
This competition is an individual competition where four participants will play the game in one match. Time for one match is alocated for 25 minutes. Each participant has the alocated time for 2 minutes per person. For the timer will be done by using automatically a computer. Scoring is done by all participants each. The aim of this competition is to develop ability in forming words through a word game which has international standardized rules.

4. ACOUSTIC
This competition is an individual competition where participants will show their skill. Time for one match is alocated for less than 15 minutes. The aims of this competition are to develop ability in singing English songs and pronouncing English words clearly.

5. ESSAY WRITING
This competition is the pioneer of english writing competition held by EDSA. Its aim is to develop our critical thoughts through a structured and systematic form. ACCOMODATION
The committee is able to arrange the accommodation for participants coming from outside Bengkulu, with responsibility for the payment upon the participants, excluded from the registration fee. Please specify the place, time, and date of your arrival at least 2 (two) days before the arrival. The place will be informed soon.
REWARD
The reward are trophy, certificate, and Rp. 7.750.000,- , total of financial reward.
CLOSING CEREMONY
We will hold a closing ceremony at the final day of SEC – IONAIRE 2014. The contents of the ceremony are the announcement about the winner, the giving of prizes, entertainments, etc. The closing ceremony will be held at:
