Semarang – Semarang University's EPIC English Club Student Activity Unit held an English Musical Theater event entitled "TRIQUETRA". This musical theater will be held on Friday, July 14 2023, 18.30 – 21.00 WIB in the Ir Auditorium building. Widjatmoko Semarang University.
There were 42 participants who registered by purchasing tickets online, 18 participants who purchased OTS tickets, and 60 participants who attended were students from Semarang University and the general public. The purpose of holding this theater is not only because of the UKM EPIC English Club work program itself, but also because it wants to facilitate the members of the UKM EPIC English Club at Semarang University to be able to practice directly speaking English as they have previously practiced in the weekly training held by UKM EPIC English Semarang University Club.
"This theme was chosen because it was adapted to the plot of the drama which tells the story of the lives of 3 prisoners, TRIQUETRA itself means 3 prisoners. And for the series of activities itself, we have practiced beforehand to present tonight's musical drama, so that when the participants have bought tickets and watched the theater we don't feel disappointed or bored with our musical theater. " Said Mirza Yuliana Pratiwi as the chief organizer of this activity.
"I hope that this English musical theater activity will not be the last, but I hope that next year there will be musical theater offerings again and again." Added Adiprana Yogatama, UKM Advisor, EPIC English Club, Semarang University.
