Bonjour! 🇫🇷 Welcome to the Undiksha Family! 💙
Our campus is getting a little more international today! We are thrilled to host four bright students from La Rochelle University, France:

✨ Louna Point
These students will be joining our English Language Education program this semester, specifically diving into the Speaking for Academic Purposes course within our International Class Initiation (IKI).
Today’s meeting with the Vice Rector, the International & Foreign Student teams, and Program Coordinator Prof. Dr. IGA. Lokita Purnamika Utami was all about making sure their academic plan is set for success. 📚✨
We can’t wait to see the cross-cultural exchange and fresh perspectives they’ll bring to our classrooms!

Five ELE students—Kadek Artini, Ni Luh Putu Sinta Dewi, Luh Putu Devikayana, Agus Hidayatulloh, and Made Ardhi Permanha—have successfully become finalists in a scientific paper competition at the International Youth Conference (IYC). The event will be held by Universiti Putra Malaysia on October 18–19, 2025, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The five students are divided into three teams and will present three scientific papers. Two of the papers focus on inclusive education and character education, while the third offers an innovative solution for processing clothing waste. The teams are mentored by I Ketut Trika Adi Ana, S.Pd., M.Pd., an FBS Undiksha lecturer who is actively involved in guiding students' scientific work.
Drs. I Gede Nurjaya, M.Pd., the Dean of FBS Undiksha, expressed his appreciation and offered encouragement. He emphasized that the competition is not just about the outcome but about the dedicated process

English Language Education (ELE) of Undiksha Students Win Bronze at National Innovation Competition
YOGYAKARTA – Two students from ELE Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha), Putu Sevina Aryastika and Firstia Pratidina Intan, have won a bronze medal at the Sustainable Innovation Essay Competition (SINEC) 2025. The team was supervised by Prof Dr. IGA Lokita Purnamika Utami, S.Pd., M.Pd. The competition, held at Widya Mataram University in Yogyakarta on August 9, 2025, celebrates innovative and sustainable ideas from students across Indonesia.
The Undiksha team's essay, titled "Inovasi Literasi Digital Kontekstual melalui Rumah Singgah dan Mobil Edukasi Digital sebagai Penguatan Kompetensi 6C di Desa Terpencil", secured a bronze medal in the Best Implementative Idea category. Their project introduces two key innovations: Rumah Singgah Digital (Digital Shelter) and SIJARI (Sistem Jari, or "Finger System"). These initiatives are designed for remote villages to promote continuous digital literacy and strengthen 6C competencies (Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Creativity, Computational Logic, and Civic Responsibility) through active and contextual learning.
In addition to their bronze medal, the team also received an award in the Favorite Poster category, highlighting the effectiveness of their visual communication. This achievement not only demonstrates the students' ability to develop practical and innovative solutions but also serves as a significant accomplishment for Undiksha.
