We would like to invite you to present your papers by oral or poster in 8th International Conference on Physics and Its Applications (8th ICOPIA) conducted on August, 23 2016, at Aston Hotel, Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia.

All the presented papers will be published in Journal of Physics:Conference Series. Publishid by Institute Of Physics. IOP. (Scopus Index).

The scope of the conference covers but not be limited to materials physics, theoretical & computational physics, elementary particles, nuclear physics, instrumentation, Optics, acoustics and geophysics.

The deadline for paper submission is March 18th, 2016 for the first round and May 20th, 2016 for the second round.

You are also possible to propose a special session in this conference. Your special session proposal includes:
- Title of the proposed special session;
- Names and affiliations of the organizers (including brief biography and contacts)
- Session abstract (state the description and motivation of the special session topics).
- List of invited papers (including tentative titles and the authors, at least 5 titles)
The special session organizers are involved in the review process.

In addition, you could be in with a chance to get free share room for one night in Aston Hotel Denpasar, Bali, if you register for a group of four registrants before May 7th, 2016 . The free share room availability is limited.

Pada tanggal 30 September - 1 Oktober 2014 kemarin, Program Studi Fisika FMIPA UNS divisitasi oleh Asesor dari BAN untuk Reakreditasi. Sebelumnya, prodi fisika mendapatkan penilaian akreditasi A.

Pada tanggal 8 Oktober 2014 akan terjadi Gerhana Bulan Total yang dapat disaksikan dari wilayah Indonesia, termasuk Yogyakarta.

Menurut BMKG, fase Gerhana Bulan Total akan terjadi mulai pukul 17 : 24,6 WIB dan fase Gerhana Penumbra berakhir pada pukul 20 : 35,2 WIB.
