The Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Population Health in collaboration with Department of Parasitology and Department of Health Policy Management, Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing, Gadjah Mada University, hereby pleased to announce a *Guest Lecture* with the topic of:
*Evolving New Model to Determine Risk Factor of Soil-Transmitted Helminths Infection using Geographic Information System and Artificial Intelligence*
Despite the persistently high prevalence of soil-transmitted helminth (STH) infections in Indonesia, cases remain significantly underreported due to limited detection and mapping methods. This guest lecture will explore an innovative research approach that combines Geographic Information System (GIS) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to better identify risk factors in rural areas. Attendees will gain insights into future research plans, emerging opportunities, and how this evolving model could transform public health strategies for STH control in Indonesia.
