SLANG is the perfect way to learn a new language and focus on the language that can actually be used in daily life. Compared to language courses offered, SLANG is a very cheap, relaxed and fun alternative.
For all you out there that wish to learn a new language (German, Dutch, French or Bahasa Indonesia), maybe because of a planned study abroad, or just because it's fun, SLANG is here to help you find your perfect match and study buddy!
We created SLANG to connect people, providing them with all the means necessary to learn a new language on an interactive base. We want to match two people that wish to learn each other’s fluent language, so they can meet up while studying and teaching at the same time. For instance, connecting a German that wishes to learn Bahasa Indonesia and an Indonesian that wishes to learn German. Both students will be teacher and student at the same time and can learn a new language while getting to know about one others culture.
In order to be connected to each other, both will have to apply to our language platform, called SLANG. SLANG stands for short language, which is what we want our members to learn. Learning the new language is not about what theoretical language can be learned, but about the practical language, that is used on a daily basis by native speakers.
