The husband and family of the late Sally Mc Hugh, Ard Connell, Ardara who passed away on 30th June would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who expressed their sympathy to us on our recent bereavement.

We are deeply grateful for the many expressions of kindness, for the mass cards, letters, floral tributes and for those who attended the wake, funeral and burial.

We extend special thanks to Fr. Aodhan Cannon, Fr. Martin Doohan, Fr Charlie Byrne and Fr. Colm O Gallchoir who celebrated the funeral mass and spoke so lovingly about Sally.

Our thanks also go to Cliona Heena and Kelly Mc Groary for the beautiful music and singing in the church.

Special thanks must also go to the Medical Staff at Sligo University Hospital, Dr. Charles Bourke, North West Hospice, Nurses Lorraine, Jill, Collette, Mairead, Orla and Aisling. Her daughter in law Mabel and Sally’s four niece’s Sharon, Dona, Yvonne and Carmel for the wonderful care they took of her during her illness . We could never have given Sally the care that you all did and we will be externally grateful for the time you gave us with her and how special it was to us.

We would also especially like to thank Raymond and Derek Mc Cabe for the sensitive and professional handling of the funeral and all the arrangements associated with it.

To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable, as it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.

Sally’s month’s mind mass will be held on Friday 31st July at 7.30pm in The Church Of The Holy Family Ardara.

Acknowledgement:

The family of the late Gary Gillespie wish to express our sincere gratitude to all that supported and sympathised with us on our great loss.

Our heartfelt thanks to the local community for their support and to all that attended the wake, funeral mass and sent sympathy messages.

The guards of honour on Friday evening for the removal throughout Killybegs, Kilcar & Carrick, and after the funeral mass was an incrediblely touching tribute. Words can't adequately express the emotion or comfort they brought us (CLG Naomh Columba, CLG Chill Chartha, The Blue Haven).

To CLG Naomh Columba who Gary was proud to be a part of, thank you for the support shown to the family & community.

Thanks to Swan Net - the friends & colleagues that Gary had there and of course the many friends Gary made through fishing over the years.

Thank you to anyone that provided food at the wake including Byrnes & McCabes.

To Curran Funeral Directors & McCabes Funeral Home - your kindness and compassion brought great comfort during a difficult time. Micheal & Siobhan guided us gentle through everything.

Also a mention for the first responders on duty the day of Gary's passing.

Thanks to Father, McAteer and the choir for the funeral mass.

Gary's month mind will be held Sunday 19th of July at 10 AM in Carrick.
