Look how curious, active and engaged they are! I think everyone who went to the Bunclody Community College Open Evening last Thursday left with a smile on their face and an inexplicable optimism for the future! Thanks to all the students who represented the school so well, and all the parents and children who visited on the night. And if you couldn't make it that evening, check out the pictures. As one parent said to me "There's such a good vibe here, and you can't fake a Vibe."

Bunclody Community College would like to sincerely wish Sandra O’Toole a long, healthy and happy retirement, and the very best of luck in her future endeavors! Sandra has been an integral part of the school community here since the early 90s, and has led the school as Deputy Principal since 2010. Sandra was so dedicated to the students and staff of BCC that she will be sorely missed by all. Ms. O’Toole was so often the first port of call for everyone in the school when help was needed, and leaves behind such a memorable legacy that won’t be forgotten (including your delicious pavolvas) Thanks for everything Sandra, and all the best to you and the family.

The picture says it all really, ( … but just to fill you in on the details … ) Bunclody Community College 6th Year student, Brandon Nolan was selected for the Leinster Under-18 Clubs Summer Programme, and trained in Dublin alongside some of the province’s most talented young players.
He and his Leinster team went on to have an outstanding campaign, winning all three matches against Ulster, Connacht and Munster, culminating in Brandon and his teammates lifting the cup.
Everyone at B.C.C. is incredibly proud of Brandon. His dedication, resilience and commitment to his sport are a fantastic achievement, and we look forward to continuing to support Brandon in every way we can as he progresses in his rugby journey.

What a player, and more importantly, what a person! Congratulations to B.C.C. 6th year student Carla Byrne who has signed for the mighty Dublin club Bohemians F.C. U18 & U23s.
Carla's hard work and dedication to her sport is an inspiration to the students and staff of our school. Best of luck Carla with your new club.
