We, the UCC French Society, love all things francophone and it is our job to promote the culture and language on campus, as well as offering a platform to work off for the various Francophone Erasmus students in UCC! Nous vous présentons le comité pour 2023/24:

Bonjour et bienvenue chez UCC French Society ! 🇫🇷

The committee is very excited to welcome both returning and future members to join our fantastic community of members. We host regular language, cultural, and social events to help you connect with the language and society during your time at UCC.

All language abilities are welcome, from beginners to native speakers.

Come along with us on this exciting journey during the 2024/25 academic year. We are really excited to spend it with you all.

Swipe across the pictures in this post to learn more about the society’s origins, as well as how to become a registered member! This is important for attendance at certain events. It is completely free and the steps are explained chronologically to help you!

There will also be 4 committee positions to be elected at our upcoming EGM (Extraordinary General Meeting). These are Vice Events Officer, Academic Officer, 1st Year Rep, and Postgraduate Rep.If you are interested in getting involved behind the scenes and working on events and more, then do consider running to be elected! More information on this will be available soon.

Bienvenue to all current and future FrenchSoc members 👋 Nous espérons que vous allez bien et que vous avez hâte de reprendre les activités sur le campus de UCC ! 📚

Say hello to this year’s incoming committee! We are really excited for the coming academic year. Follow us over the next few weeks as we announce our events for September, and to get to know each of our new committee members as we share some of their French-related favourites 🤩

The 2023/24 committee's term has recently come to an end. Merci beaucoup to all of our members for your support throughout the year, we really appreciate it and had great fun together.
