The Work Breakdown Structure is an important tool used by project managers. It is deliverable-orientated and takes a step-by-step approach to completing large projects with several moving pieces.

The Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) defines the Work Breakdown Structure as a "hierarchical decomposition of the total scope of work to be carried out by the project team to accomplish the project objectives and create the required deliverables."

Do you want to achieve your goals faster and more effectively?

If so, you need to learn to set SMART, FAST, and CLEAR goals. These three methods are all based on the same principles, but each has unique strengths.

1. SMART goals are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound. They are the most popular goal-setting method and a great way to ensure your goals are achievable.
2. FAST goals are focused, aligned, specific, time-bound, and measurable. They are a more recent goal-setting method, and they are designed to help you achieve your goals faster.
3. CLEAR goals are concise, easy to remember, agreed upon, relevant, and time-bound. They are a simple and effective way to set goals that you can actually achieve.

So, which method should you use?

The best method for you will depend on your individual needs and preferences. If you are new to goal-setting, then SMART goals are a great place to start. FAST goals may be better if you are looking for a more accelerated approach. And if you want a simple and easy-to-remember method, then CLEAR goals are a great option.

Setting goals can be useful for achieving success in several facets of your life. Help your team progress through the stages of group development by reading our article: https://bit.ly/3ERxISn
