CCT College Dublin warmly welcomes the publication of our Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) CINNTE Institutional Review Report and extends our sincere appreciation to the expert review panel for their commitment, collegiality, and professionalism throughout the review process. We are deeply grateful for their valuable insights, thoughtful reflections, and comprehensive evaluation. We also wish to thank very much our wonderful colleagues in QQI for their ongoing guidance, support, and expertise throughout this significant process in the College's development.

For CCT College, this report represents an important milestone in our 21-year journey and reflects the progress we have made as an institution committed to excellence. The external quality review process provided a valuable opportunity for meaningful institutional reflection, bringing together learners, staff, and all stakeholders in a shared evaluation of our achievements, strengths, areas for improvement and aspirations. We are particularly encouraged by the many commendations arising from the report recognising our strong culture of student support and accessibility, our collaborative approach, and our enduring commitment to excellence in teaching, learning, and continuous quality enhancement across the College. In line with our own self-evaluation and strategic priorities, the report also identifies a small number of recommendations, which we embrace for further development.

Finally, we extend our heartfelt thanks to our learners, staff team, stakeholders, and the wider College community whose contributions and perspectives shaped this evaluation and gave it depth and meaning. The positive outcomes of this review are testament to professionalism, and shared commitment to CCT's mission and values. Building on this strong foundation, we will continue to draw on the strength of our community as we further advance CCT College's position as one of Ireland's most innovative, agile, responsive, accessible, and student-centred providers of higher education.

The last year has been a very busy and successful one with CCT achieving TrustEd status, receiving authorisation from QQI to use the TrustEd Ireland mark (Higher Education Pathway), a new state accreditation system underpinning Ireland's commitment to quality, care and confidence to international and to all students. We achieved a very positive outcome from the significant QQI Institutional Review process of CINNTE, with a result of six recommendations and nine commendations.
CCT also successfully undertook the new QQI Due Diligence Evaluation review process for private higher ed providers incorporating a detailed review of the business operations, financial health, governance and compliance, along with operational capacity and capability.

Final registrations are now being taken for the third iteration in CCT College Dublin’s ‘From Ideas to Action’ conference series. The 2026 Conference will be entitled ‘GenAI in Teaching, Learning and Assessment: From Ideas to Action’.

This full day event will be held on Thursday 3rd September at the The College Green Hotel, next door to CCT College Dublin, on Westmoreland Street.

The aim of this conference, fully sponsored by CCT College Dublin, will focus on how institutions, educators and students can engage with the evolving role of AI in education in ways that are pedagogically meaningful, ethically grounded and aligned with academic integrity.

Rather than positioning AI solely as a challenge, the conference foregrounds practice. Through case studies and shared experiences, contributors will examine how GenAI is being used in classrooms, how institutions are responding through policy and culture, and how staff and students are developing AI literacy.

The event offers space to critically reflect on what is working, what is emerging, and what may need to change. Participants will leave with practical insights, grounded examples and a clearer sense of how to navigate GenAI in the coming academic year.

This conference is for educators, academic developers, institutional leaders and students across higher education who are engaging with GenAI in their practice or institution — whether confidently, cautiously, or somewhere in between.

🎤 “We’re experiencing today’s schools, today.
We’re experiencing today’s services, today.
So if anyone wants to know what works, what doesn’t work, and what needs to change - who better to ask than the people living it right now.” Powerful opening words from our Youth Leadership Team Project Lead Caoimhe Kelly.

CCT College Dublin was delighted this semester to announce the opening of a second campus building in the very heart of Dublin city centre, located just off O'Connell Bridge and less than one minute walk from our main campus building on Westmoreland Street. The College has invested significantly in this additional overflow learning space to include state of the art classrooms, faculty space and student study, lounge and eating areas. And all with universal accessibility at the core of this renovation.

The College now occupies the first floor of Astor Hall, 4-8 Eden Quay, Dublin 1. This project afforded the CCT facilities team the opportunity, along with a wide-ranging expert contractors team, to bring this space from a complete shell of a floor space into an innovative, dynamic, comfortable and vibrant learning environment.
