SCHOLS BALL TIX on sale SOON at 8.30pm 💙✨🪩

Check your inboxes folks! You will receive an email with a link to the form. Please complete the form and indicate whether or not you would like a plus one.

Tickets for Scholars/Sizars/Reid Scholars are €35 and Tickets for Non-Scholar +1s are €50. Due to limited capacity, ticket sales will be strictly limited to ONE non-Scholar +1 per Scholar/Sizar/Reid Scholar. For any plus ones who we cannot allocate a dinner ticket we are selling Post-Dinner tickets. If we cannot fit you in for dinner, we will aim to have you in the Atrium after dinner for music, drink and fun, and in the afters to dance the night away! Post dinner tickets are €25.

The dress code for the ball is Black Tie.

The event will run similarly to previous years, but if this is your first time, the itinerary is below:

6:15 - Prosecco Reception
Enjoy a glass of Prosecco, mix and mingle with everyone in front square and the atrium. Get your photo taken by the photographer!

7:00 - Dinner
Dinner will take place in the dining hall. Catering always makes a delicious meal that goes far beyond the usual commons. Indulge in the wine and port that will be served at every table. Non-alcoholic drinks will also be available all night.

8:30 - Drinks reception
Head back to the atrium after dinner to really kick off the night. There will be live music and plenty more free wine, port, beer and cider to enjoy. During this time, there will also be a quiet room located off the Atrium to avail of if you want to relax or get away from the noise for a few minutes.

10:30 - Market Bar
Once our band finishes up, head down to Market Bar on Fade Street, just a 5 minute walk from campus, where there will be lights, a DJ and dancing till late! The first 100 people in the door will get a free drink so don’t be slow!

🎤BACK TO COLLEGE EVENT!!❤️

Get your vocal cords warmed up because we are heading to Chaplin’s Upstairs THIS THURSDAY at 7.15PM for a back to school social and some Karaoke.

Don’t worry if you aren’t a singer you can come along and enjoy some tunes, drinks, and a catch up with your friends! We will also be accepting optional donations for the TAP bursaries (donate what you can, revolut or cash) 🙏🤍

📚The scholars committee will be holding an information session for Mature Students TODAY (Tuesday 4th November) @ 5pm in Room 4050B, Arts Block.

✨The session is to support Mature students that plan to sit schols, and to give a quick overview of the exams and how to ensure you have support in place for sitting them. There will be an opportunity for us to have a discussion and Q&A about any challenges you might be facing 🤝

💙 We warmly encourage any second year mature students that plan to sit the schols exams to attend. See you there!

✨ Good luck to SF students sitting the Foundation Scholarship Exams this week! ✨

Be proud of the hard work you have put in for these exams. Preparing for and sitting Schols is an achievement in itself!

Remember that there are many others who have been in your shoes before so you are not alone 💪
