We are UCD Rhythm-in-Blue, UCD's premier mixed collegiate a cappella group modeled after those popularly seen in US universities. Founded by a corps of MusicalSoc students in 2014 spearheaded by Matthew Ambrose and Fergal Cooke. Ours is a strong group of friends, a gathering of star performers and an instant family all-in-one. We perform, wherever and whenever we're able, songs that range from Pop
to Easy Listening to film songs and musical theatre numbers, right down to good old fashioned Barbershop music. Our first and foremost goal is fun and enjoyment for all who take part as well as creating an atmosphere of fun, enriching harmonies, friendly digs at each other and improvement of musical skill. Additionally, as our base expands, we will undertake new projects both inside and outside UCD such as competitions, collaborations, festivals and A/V Recordings while at the same time interacting on a more frequent and less formal basis with the UCD student body.
