We celebrated our last in-class day with our final year students on the BA (Hons.) in Social Care, in City Campus, this week. It’s been a pleasure getting to know them, these last 3 years, and watching them develop their own unique professional identities as social care workers. It’s a long road but it goes by in a flash! We wish them all well in getting their final assignments over the line and venturing into the post-university world! 🎉

Earlier this month, TU Dublin students across three MA programmes (Criminology, Social Care Leadership and Management, and Child, Family and Community Studies), accompanied by lecturers, were hosted by the Irish College Leuven, in Belgium. It was an incredible trip, incorporating visits to the European Commission and European Parliament, input from guest speakers from Eurochild and KU Leuven, as well as fascinating visits to a number of organisations working with vulnerable populations, in and around Brussels. Thanks to all at Irish College Leuven for generating such a perfectly tailored and engaging itinerary. We’ll be back! 🇪🇺
