UCD Earth Institute UCD Earth Institute is a multidisciplinary research centre with a focus on creating and sharing new knowledge.

Founded to enhance our understanding of threats to a sustainable world, economy, and community, UCD Earth Institute research helps identify, clarify, forecast and find, solutions to the most pressing issues facing us today. We aim to contribute to sustainable solutions for many of the pressing Earth-related problems affecting societies. The Institute currently comprises over 80 principal investiga

tors and their teams with multidisciplinary expertise. The research is supported by the latest laboratory and field equipment, with new purpose built laboratories under construction. Members of the Institute are engaged with stakeholders and partners in all levels of society.
