To celebrate the WHO's World Antimicrobial Resistance Awareness Week, the WAAW23 conference took place in Maynooth University on November 23rd last, with our own Dr Fintan Kelleher delivering a keynote address. In addition to this, our PhD student Mairéad Gallagher (supervised by Dr Kelleher and Dr Gordon Cooke) won Best Overall Poster Presentation at the event. Well done to Fintan, Gordon and Mairéad for representing the school so well!

It will develop the next generation of industry-relevant, publicly engaged researchers and become an anchor for industry applicable research.

Elaine’s research will focus on supporting the development of regulatory strategies arising from the outputs of research in the areas of biomaterials, drug delivery, regenerative medicine, bioengineering and glycobiology.
