SHRH TU Dublin The Sustainability and Health Research Hub at TU Dublin aimed at supporting research in the areas of environment, health and sustainability.

The Sustainability and Health Research Hub integrates scientific and technical expertise with planning, policy and regulatory capability and relevant industry partners to bridge the science-policy-innovation gap. The overarching mission and vision is to achieve "Healthier Lives for Children, the Elderly and Vulnerable Populations". Areas of research include Food, Water, Energy, Sustainability, Life Sciences, Policy, Human Health & Bio-monitoring.

The Innovation development team from the Dept Agriculture, Environment & Rural Development Northern Ireland were welcomed to TU Dublin on the 8th March by the Dean of Sciences and Health Prof John Doran. Management, staff and students gave them an overview and showcased our innovation and stakeholder engagement in the Agriculture, AI, Food/Drink and Bioeconomy sectors. Followed by a tour of our facilities in ESHI and the Central Quad.

Emeritus Professor Brendan Goldsmith, ESHI Resident Researcher and former President TU Dublin has just published another journal article: 'The pierce decomposition and pierce embedding of endomorphism rings of abelian b-groups', co-authored with Luigi Salce, University of Padova, Italy. The article has been published in Focum Mathematicum. Well done Brendan.
