All of our courses are certified by Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI). They are developed and updated in consultation with prospective employers to ensure they are relevant to our students. Qualifications from Dunboyne College of Further Education provide students with the opportunity to progress to further studies at third level. We have developed close links with Technological University

Dublin (TUD) Blanchardstown, Maynooth University, Dublin City University (DCU) and Dundalk Institute of Technology as well as many other institutions around the country. Our graduates in Nursing Studies, Applied Social Studies, Business, and the Pre-Arts courses have been very successful in recent years securing places in employment and in the third level sector. Derek and Aoife from our Guidance Department attended the Institute of Guidance Counsellors Conference 2026 โ€“ Nourish to Flourish; Sustaining Growth Through Guidance Counselling.

Hosted on the TU Dublin / OT Baile รtha Cliath Grangegorman campus, the conference offered meaningful CPD for guidance counsellors who work across the lifespan and across the educational, personal and social, and career strands of guidance.

Key note speaker Dr. Harry Barry and a wide range of workshops provided excellent opportunities for reflection, engagement and learning.

Truth, Love or Promise is a compelling and beautifully observed one-woman play that explores the complexities of relationships, loyalty, love, and the promises we make โ€” both to others and to ourselves.

The play has been widely acclaimed and recently won a prestigious IMRO Award, recognising the strength and quality of its writing.

This powerful and thought-provoking play celebrates womenโ€™s voices, experiences, and stories with warmth, honesty, and humour making it a perfect way to recognise International Womenโ€™s Day together.

Huge thanks to Emily and Circular Fashion Ireland in collaboration with Meath County Council who brought a clothes swap shop to Dunboyne College of Further Education as part of

This workshop and clothes swap encouraged the reuse of clothing via sustainable actions of swapping clothes.

A fascinating and informative talk was hosted on the impacts of fast fashion and how we engage with climate through our wardrobes.
