Great story about two of our past students; Kate Ward, Pre-Teaching and Kate Mahony, Journalism who had previously progressed to University courses only to realise this wasn't the right path for them.

They both left university to complete a QQI Level 5 course in Dunboyne College of Further Education which helped them to find what they really wanted to pursue.

They have now returned to university with a clearer goal in mind and are on the path to achieve a career they are truly passionate about.

✨️ What an exciting day we've had here in Dunboyne College of Further Education as we held the official opening of our new Clinical Skills Training Facility 🎉

The state-of-the-art training room was opened by Jennifer Carroll MacNeill TD , Minister for Health and Helen Mc Entee TD, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade.

The New Clinical Skills Training room replicates a hospital ward and is equipped with advanced simulation technology allowing our students to practise the skills they learn about in class and develop these skills further through real life scenarios, while also improving their practical competence, communication and team work skills.

We would like to thank both Jennifer Carroll MacNeill TD and Helen Mc Entee TD, for opening this much anticipated facility.

We would also like to thank Martin O'Brien, Chief Executive Officer, LMETB Further Education and Training and Sadie Ward McDermott, Director of FET for their ongoing support.
