NUI Galway Mini Med School

NUI Galway Mini Med School Mini Med aims to inspire and prepare secondary school students considering studying a healthcare related degree. This year's theme will be: ONCOLOGY.

NUI Galway's Mini Med School 2016 aims to introduce healthcare to secondary students, through interactive sessions. We will bring cancer research to a level fit for TY, 5th and 6th years. There will be four sessions covering; clinical medicine, nursing, research and innovation. Each evening, there will be two speakers, a Q&A session with current healthcare students, and a practical workshop. We co

llaborate with world leading researchers, and professors. These sessions are designed to provide a taste of what being a healthcare provider might feel like. We aim to inspire and offer support to those considering pursuing healthcare related degrees.
