UL Enterprise Network ULs Enterprise Network – Connecting entrepreneurial minds and generating new business opportunities

The Network invites students from across all the disciplines at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the University to work together on enterprising projects through the following activities which will be organised on behalf of the Network:
- Arranging guest talks and workshops with successful entrepreneurs and established small businesses business owners.
- Linking up with The Nexus Innovatio

n Centre located on campus, to experience and network with entrepreneurs who are starting and growing new businesses in all sectors
- Providing a series of workshops and practical guidelines on topics such as identifying business opportunities; undertaking market research; how to validate a new business idea and where to source funding for a new business idea;
- Organising talks from representatives of government development agencies such as Enterprise Ireland and Local Enterprise Offices, commercial funders such as the Banks, Venture Capital Agencies on what they look for when funding projects
- Practical workshops on selling and pitching your business idea to panels such as the Dragons Den
Being part of this Enterprise Network will be fun; it will increase your network of contacts across the university and amongst the broader population of entrepreneurs and funding institutions.

Hey Everyone! Few big announces.

1. Startup Weekend Limerick Tickets are officially ON SALE NOW. For anyone that hopes to pursue a career in Entrepreneurship, this event is a must. We give you the tools, skills, team and network to build your own Startup in 54hours. I have 5 FREE tickets for members of the Enterprise Network. The first 5 to email me will be receiving them! I hope to see EVERYONE there, massive missed opportunity otherwise.
