Hi Everyone!

Celtic Society President here, this is just a quick update on the Society situation, it is back up and running, at the moment we just have a committee but we are open for people to join and hoping to hold an AGM soon.

I want to say a big thank you to the society's previous President, Sabrina Devine. I'm sure it wont be the same without you as president, and i hope you won't be a stranger and attend events and AGMs when you can.

We look forward to seeing current student and even past students at the Society events and AGMs.

Today, MSU found out that Maynooth University are taking the Rye Hall venue away from the Mathematics Support Centre (MSC) to convert it into a lecture space.

The MSC is a free and an award winning service for all Maynooth University undergraduates since 2007. The MSC makes a significant contribution to the student learning experience, and has had over 130000 student visits.

Does this sound familiar? This decision, is another decision made by the University without asking the students what they think.

The MSC is a service used by thousands, and has definitely ensured a large amount remain in their course of study.

Another cost effective decision made without any consultation of MSU, and unfortunately is a decision that will severely impact on students at MU.

Do you need any more reasons to sign the petition?
