IF WORDWORTH HAD SEEN COCONUTS. .........................................................I wander lonely by Schull pier
Through a bitter breeze and wind that cuts
Looking out at the angry sea
I think about the coconuts

It still seems like a good idea
A yoghurt, vegan, dairy-free
But it's so hard to make it work
Especially when there's only me

Perhaps I should just pack it in
And get the job that pays the bills
Or remain inspired by coconuts
As Wordsworth was by
daffodils

Glass or plastic? A little added sugar? No added sugar? High coconut milk content + clean label = higher price or lower coconut milk + more additives = lower price? Questions I ask myself everyday when it comes to making coconut milk yoghurt. Even after a storm, Schull still manages to shine.

Towards the end of the clip, you may hear the sound of breaking glass. Bottle banks are behind me. And speaking of glass, I want to move away from plastic to glass jars for Coconut Treasure. What are your thoughts? Great idea? Sounds ok? Doesn't bother me?

I spent the morning
in Cork City. It's so great to see Coconut Treasure in Ballincollig, Bandon Road, Ballyvolane and Blackpool stores. Organised some tasting sessions for those stores for next 2 weeks. Will let you know exactly when early next week. Hope you're all enjoying your weekend 😀

Can we grow coconuts in Schull? Well Donal Morgan, is going to try. Because the Gulf Stream flows into Schull harbour, many tropical plants and trees thrive here, that wouldn't survive in other parts of Ireland. Here is a picture of Donal's first palm tree 🌴 which is now safely stowed in a poly tunnel, where the higher temperature and humidity will give it every chance to grow and fruit (Coconuts are the fruit of the palm tree). We'd like your help to name the tree. €20 gift card for the most apt, wittiest name 🥥🌴🥥🌴

Everyday I am just so grateful to be living in Schull. The sound of the water, the gulls, the boats, has inspired so many people to remain or move here and set up businesses ranging from jewellery to antiques to pubs and restaurants and of course Coconut yoghurt. For those of you not so fortunate, a short clip from my afternoon walk 😊🥥😊🥥
