The fair takes place on 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟏𝟐𝐩𝐦–𝟒𝐩𝐦 — a fantastic afternoon of hands-on discovery, creativity and fun for all ages.

The Fair will include a wide range of performances, interactive displays, workshops and demonstrations for all the family to enjoy.

Design, Build & Discover with lots of fun guaranteed for both children and adults.

Whether you're a budding young engineer, a curious student, or simply looking for a great family day out, this event will showcase the exciting world of engineering through interactive exhibits, demonstrations and activities.

Would you like to take part in our Engineering & Design 𝐓𝐘 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟎𝟕 – 𝟏𝟏 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓?

The placement week runs from Monday 7th to Friday 11th April 2025 from 10.00 - 4.00 daily and is being run specifically for 𝐟𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐓𝐘 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 who may be interested or want to find out more about career options and courses available in engineering and design, including:

~ 𝐌𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 including robotics, automation, data centre facilities engineering, etc.
~ 𝐌𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 & 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 including design, simulation analysis, prototyping and manufacturing.
~ 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 including software development, games development, etc.
~ 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞.
~ 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 & 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧.
~ 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬.
~ 𝐂𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 including construction project management and quantity surveying.
~ 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬 including electrical, toolmaking and carpentry.

🔍You will get to;

✅ 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐬 – hear from our existing students on why it's great to study engineering and what ATU Sligo has to offer.
✅ 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐞 – tips and advice on what to do if you want to pursue a career in engineering.
