What a fantastic day at Django Girls Cork!

We had the pleasure of welcoming 40+ women who were new to programming, giving them the opportunity to step into the world of tech and build their very own website from scratch.

None of this would have been possible without our amazing community of 14 coaches, who shared their time, knowledge, and encouragement throughout the day. 🙌

A huge thank you to our industry partners Cadence and NetApp, and our internal partners Rinn Artificial Intelligence and AdvanceCRT for helping us make the event happen and supporting our mission to make technology more accessible and inclusive.

We were also delighted to hear from our fantastic lightning speakers from NetApp, Cadence, and CloudCIX; Saanvi Bhagat, Jasmine Jasmine, and Sarah Sweeney.

Most importantly, it was brilliant to see so many women taking their first steps into programming, asking questions, tackling challenges, and building something they could call their own.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making Django Girls Cork such a welcoming and inspiring day. 💜

Here’s to more women discovering that yes, they can code! 🚀
