The Irish College of Music Theatre (IMT) formed with an aim of developing and expanding the current gap in the music theatre training in Ireland. At present there are no formal qualifications offered at third level, but with the growth of the genre in Ireland, and indeed abroad, there is a need for the training of young performers who wish to pursue a career in musical theatre. There are many comp

etitors in the UK and further afield where the demand for places on these courses is extremely high. The potential for a highly successful training environment in Ireland is present and this is the niche that IMT aims to fill. In association with DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama, The Irish College of Music Theatre is delighted to announce its one year foundation course, subject to validation, for post leaving cert students that addresses the significant training gap which now exists in Ireland. Upon completion of this Foundation course, students will be ready to audition for bachelors programmes in Musical Theatre. The course offers training in four disciplines of Musical Theatre;

Acting/Singing/Dance/Voice.
